DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL
FYA Studios has been selected for presentation at the 25th Anniversary of the 2026 DUMBO Dance Festival, presented by WHITE WAVE Dance.
Taking place June 26–28, 2026, at the Paul Taylor Dance East Theater in New York City, the festival celebrates contemporary choreographic voices from around the world.
FYA Studios will present
The Art of Becoming: Agreement (Still) into The Passing of Time
as the closing performance of the Saturday, June 27th, 4 PM presentation.
Directed and choreographed by LaQuet Sharnell Pringle, with original music by Britt Hewitt and associate choreography/direction by Laura Aronoff, the work continues FYA Studios’ exploration of contemporary jazz theater, embodied storytelling, and cinematic movement language.
This presentation marks the company’s second major dance festival appearance and an important step in the continued expansion of The Art of Becoming.
