MASTERCLASS FAQs
What if I haven’t booked my big Broadway debut yet? Can I still join?
Of course! This masterclass is for everyone—from seasoned pros between gigs to those dreaming of standing center stage. Whether you’ve performed under a Tony-winning spotlight or just for your houseplants, this is the space to grow.
Do I need to bring sheet music?
Yes! Bring a song that shows off your range, style, and personality. If it’s your go-to audition piece, even better!
Will I have to sing in front of everyone?
Yes, and trust me, you’ll feel our uplifting support! Consider this a warm-up for your next audition. This is an affirming environment and experience.
What should I wear to the masterclass?
Dress like you’re heading to a callback—but comfortable enough to breathe, move, and SANG! Think sleek & comfy rehearsal wear, not your opening night costume.
Is there a vocal or physical warm-up?
Oh, hell yeah we warm up! We’ll open up our bodies and voices with ease, flow, and connectivity. I promise, no one’s jumping into the Les Mis finale straight out of the gate and cold.
Will this class help with audition nerves?
1,000%! Auditioning is its own art form, and we’ll approach it with fearlessness. This workshop is to help you feel ready to walk into any audition room like you already belong there…because you do!
What if I crack, forget a lyric, or have a full existential crisis mid-song?
First of all, welcome to theater life—it happens to the best of us! This is a safe space to fail forward. You’ll learn how to recover, laugh it off while giving a show-stopping performance.
Will we get feedback that actually helps us book jobs?
Yes! My feedback isn’t just about vocal technique—it’s about crafting performances that get directors and casting teams to lean in. Expect actionable advice to sharpen your skills and stand out in auditions.
Do I need to bring anything else besides water and sheet music?
Yes—bring a straw for your water bottle, sheet music book/iPad, your passion, professionalism, and a healthy dose of patience for yourself. Broadway is a marathon, not a sprint, and this masterclass is part of the training. Bonus points if you bring a notebook for all the Fearless nuggets of wisdom you’ll receive.
What’s the best thing to expect from this masterclass?
The magic of a room full of artists just as passionate as you are. You’ll leave with stronger technique, sharper audition skills, and the kind of confidence that makes directors take notice. Plus, you might just find your next audition buddy 🤗
